Haiti

Part A- After the earthquake on Haiti. The country became very poor and all people lost their house. Therefore, their rights which is shelter, water and food are disappears so, they lost their rights. However, now americans are helping Haiti to recover, but there is some disadvantage to rebuild the shelters. Disadvantages are Haiti is covered by a lot of mountains, topical climate and the countries locations. However the most important thing is there history and culture. Therefore, there rebuild of the speed is really slow. I think Haiti will rebuild more faster if the other countries including america and try to control Haiti while, they envelope because there is a lot of rubbers and some are stilling the food. Therefore it is better to control Haiti while they improving.

Part B- I loved this game because it is really similar to the real life and the game is about the life. For example, the parents are going to the farm or work, and the children are going to the farm, school and work. For the part of the game it is really similar to my friends and me. The similar part is when the children are going to the school or to buy the school uniform. I choose some bicycle to let parents go far to work and to earn a lot of money. Actually, I put all my family to the work until I earn a lot of money until I can send them to the school and hospital. However some of the situations are not close enough to the real life. This is because there is some countries wanted to control the others but in this game there is no hard diseases.

Sharks Fin

For the 400million years the sharks were prey by "Human". Chinese started to eat sharks fin soup, then the food become more popular. Therefore 70% of the people in earth tried sharks fin soup. However, Sharks are dieing very fast therefore, modern days the sharks dieing 200million in one year. I felt really sad and depressed when I saw people catch the sharks with the long line. Lone line is a tools that to catch the sharks. So, In our global issues class we trying to stop those people who still eating the sharks fin. Our project aim is to let know people that the sharks are dieing in a year. The plan is to make games and videos to make people understand easier.

Action Project Relection

In 2010, may 20th. Our global issues class had learned about how sharks die and how many sharks die in one year. Therefore our new aim in this project was to let know people that awareness of sharks die in one year. We made a groups of 5 to make our own games, food, toys and movies. CheHoon and I made lego maze to show how sharks caught by people or long lines. People loved our games and we earned 5RM. I think we made some changes. For example, how people think about the sharks and to let them know the awareness.
I also think we raised some awareness because some people were very surprised and depressed.
I want to make some change if I do this project again I want to change some game style. For example, give them some good prize if they win the game or to have a more straw.
I learned really many things today. For example, 100milion sharks are dieing, how people caught the sharks and what they use to make the sharks fin.

Malaysia week global issues

On Malaysia week I went with Mr.Anders and Ms. Phas. It was great experience and I met a lot of new friends I fished there and the water was clean. The site was Kelong where it is near by singapore. The sea water was so clean. However one day my team meats and I went to a island, and no one was living there. Even though there was no one there is a lot of trashes around the beach side. Therefore, our group clean it before swimming. However after we finish the cleaning it was so clean. However in future more people will come and there will be more trashes around that island and I am really feel sorry for that.

In this class, we are learning about how to take care of others. We are becoming more aware and more responsible about our behavior and the environment. The environment is not just plants and animals, but the social environment as well and even in economy. Global issues are really huge, but we are learning to starts small. I created this wordle to represent about things that we learned. For example, poverty, sickness, Global, education, food and health... Also our class answer some of the questions about poverty as you see we answered 10 questions so that we learn more about poverty and hunger. One day our class play games which is 3rd world Farmer. We loved that games but we didn't know that the purpose of the game. However, we thought that this Farm game is really similar to us. Then we talked about what is the similarities and differences. I really loved global issues because I want to help people and world.

What is Global Issues??

Global issue is the class that talks about problems in the world that happens over and over which is bad for people and the earth. Therefore, our class try to stop the problems and we work for peace. The top words are the important words that we learn and the problems. First if the entire most important ting is poverty. Poverty because almost more than half of the people in the world in poverty which means poor and in hunger. Secondly Rights and Education is important too. Education is important because all the kids and children have to go to school to learn but, some people don’t send their child to go to school. Rights are also important because in these days there is still woman and mans difference because the woman doing all their work when they was young but, men goes to school when they are young and work later… Lastly Government. Governments are the most important people in the countries and help people to live better. However, some country’s Governments are not helpful for their citizen. These are the important things that happens in the world. Also there is hundreds of more problems that happning in the worldIn this class, we are learning about how to take care of others.
